What is Leanbh?

Leanbh is a service for children or young people who are begging on the streets of Dublin.

 

What does Leanbh do?

Leanbh monitors the presence of child begging on the streets of Dublin.  The service assesses and responds to children in danger and provides help to them.

Our friendly staff and volunteers work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  We provide support for children who beg and for their families.

 

How does it work?

Referrals can be made by parents, teachers, professionals, or even children themselves. 

If you see a child begging on the street you can ring us and let us know, we will then try to go out to them and offer our help.
