What is Consultation?


The UN Convention on the rights of the child affirms the fact that children and young people have the right to express their views on matters that affect them.

The convention also recognizes your right to form and join associations.

 

Why is consultation important?

In order to ensure that your rights as citizens are acknowledged, and that you are given the opportunity to participate in society as equals, we strive to ensure that you are consulted with and are active participants in society and in our services.

This means that we want to hear what you think about matters that affect you and in particular our four services.
